Buy a Hammer, Build Our Community

How The Home Depot Canada Foundation is supporting affordable housing and building strong communities for Canadians in need with thousands of “Paper Hammers”

Did you know that you can improve your community using only a paper hammer? It’s true. All it takes is a few thousand people to buy a $2 “Paper Hammer” at their local The Home Depot store between May 31 and July 4.

This year, as part of The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s annual Buy a Hammer, Build Our Community campaign, each of The Home Depot’s 180 retail locations across Canada will raise funds to support their charitable partner’s affordable housing and community improvement projects.

Please visit your local The Home Depot store today and buy a $2 “Paper Hammer” or visit The Home Depot Canada Foundation website to learn more at www.homedepot.ca/foundation.

SUPPORT BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB THROUGH...

$100 from every new TELUS TV activation within the municipal boundaries of Airdrie that occurs during project campaign June 2011 - June 2012 will go towards our multi media and music programs and support youth in our community.

At TELUS we give where we live.

We believe there is no greater value than fostering the health of a community and we recognize the critical investments that we are making today are made possible by the support of our loyal customers. By supporting this campaign, you are enabling youth in Airdrie to have a special place to come together to learn and share experiences. Our goal is to help the Boys and Girls Club create a multi media and music lab for Airdrie youth.
